These are special rules regarding breeding.
[glow=red,2,300]REST AND HEALTH ISSUES[/glow]
Mares, as noted before, can be bred one week after they foal. Special rest may also be needed if the mare goes through complications, has twins, etc. Mares foal two weeks after the date that they were bred.
Stallions also must rest after breeding. They must rest for 5 days after breeding. Please do not overbreed them.
Mares may not breed until they are 3 years of age. The same goes for stallions.
Horses with hereditary health problems(problems passed from generation to generation) cannot be bred. Again, this would be rare but should still be avoided.
You may not inbreed horses. Self-explanatory.
[glow=red,2,300]Naming[/glow]
When breeding one of your horses to someone else's horse, you must follow their naming rules for that horse. This is to ease confusion on lineage and to prevent inbreeding (see above). This goes for both stallions and mares.
For example:
Let's say someone wants to breed a mare named Unknown Dimension to my stallion, Agent Mulder. My naming rules are that the foal, whether male or female, must have the name "Mulder" or, in rare situations, "Spooky". Therefore, the foal from that breeding must have a name like "Mulder's Dimension" "Mulder's Unknown","Spooky Dimension", or maybe even "Mulder's Spooky Unknown".
Mares can also have naming rules, as in my mare Thermian's Innocence. For example, my rule is that any foals from her must have the name "Thermian" or "Thermia" in their names. So if someone had a stallion named, say, Fire and Ice, the name would have to be something like "Thermian's Fire" or "Fire of Thermia".
In some occasions, you may have a stallion with naming rules being bred to a mare with naming rules. A combination of the two is best, or an agreement should be worked out with the other person.
Ex.: Thermian's InnocenceXAgent Mulder could be something like "Thermian Mulder" or "Spooky Thermian".
